Grew around 2 doz plants in wet 2010 as both Spring/Fall crop. Planted April 9, all came in within 2 weeks of each other starting on June 28. Don\'t let this stand as the taste goes downhill. Plenty of sideshoots. Lots of foliage for the size (3 - 5 in) of head. I grew same amount of Early Dividend in same garden area/same spraying, etc in Spring and GG way outperformed ED. ED didn\'t seem to hold up, \"be as flexible\" with the wet weather stress and bugs. Will grow GG again. Maybe ED is better for fall crop? Did not grow ED for fall crop, just GG (direct seed July 4/harvest late Sept/early Oct.) Didn\'t do as well in Fall as the Spring crop, but still OK. Very wet year, only had to water the garden once. Hail in April and August.

This variety was a teaser, while my other varieties were heading up, and almost ready, Green Goliath was still just a button, all foliage. Almost gave up on it but I waited and I'm glad I did. Give this variety some space, it really sprawls out wide. Produces very large, tight budded heads, that have above average taste in my opinion. I had this one around 90-95 days from seed started indoors, yeah it's a late bloomer.

Started plants inside, very good germination on 2 year old seeds. Grew in raised bed with row cover to keep away bugs. Transplanted April 25th, ready to eat in 60 days. Huge tight heads. However, they are all ready pretty much the same time. Would have liked the harvest spread out more. The secret to success is ample water, in my experience. Will definitely grow this variety again.

A proven performer that has fantastic yields. Easy starting and maintanence, with the volume of sideshoot mini-heads almost equaling the Main head. Don't choose this variety if you get tired of picking. A Maximum Output Veggie Plant!

This is the best open pollinated broccoli that I have grown. It produces a decent central head and lots of side shoots. Lacks uniformity, which is good for a home gardener. However, it does not keep pace with hybrids in its maturity slot for dependability and yield.

Only variety that does well for me in Louisiana as a fall crop. Has a good size main head and numerous side shoots. Sometimes readily available in many local home improvement store spring seed collections. May want to purchase early, many stores return their unsold seed before the fall planting time.

This Brocalli grew large first heads, and then numerous side shoots of good size from early in September continuing until late October. The tase is excellent raw or cooked.

Every seed in the packet seemed to produce a plant and each plant yielded monster-sized heads.
