| Planted Gold Mine again this year in a new garden with fairly heavy soil. They were fantastic. Very heavy yield that keeps producing if you keep it picked. Great taste. Keeps well in fridge. Freezes well. |

| Excellent yellow wax bean. Very productive with excellent taste. I didn't think they froze very well. They tend to be fairly watery after freezing. For fresh table use they can't be beat. I see no difference between Burpee Gold Mine and Goldrush beans. I believe they are the same bean seed marketed under one name in their catalog (Gold Mine) and the other name (Goldrush) in retail outlets. |

| This is my favorite bean. It's reliable, productive, and the beans freeze remarkably well. They retain their color, texture, and flavor even after being in the freezer a year. They did well for me in some of the less-sunny patches in my garden, too. |
