Gorgeous in a jar, indeed. And the flavor is very strong (perhaps not for everyone). And the plants are practically disease-free, a real asset in my mesoclimate. They don't yield very heavily, but that's the only negative note I've made in several years of growing. Wicked in baked beans (try honey in place of molasses in your favorite recipe).

Tasty, easy to grow, and beautiful in a glass jar. Unlike some dry beans, doesn't take forever to cook.
