A Thai type eggplant, which develops a hollow in the center, with a large amount of seeds, even in smaller fruits. However, unlike traditional eggplants, it developed no bitterness when it got "seedy", and the flavor is good, with a firm texture that soes not turn mushy, even after 25 min. in a simmered dish. The only drawback was the yield, which was low, and it seemed to stop flowering and producing in very hot weather, which is wierd, since it is a Thai eggplant. |
