| 2nd year with this variety. Very fruitful. We had the hottest summer this year. I planted in alternating double rows and used drip irrigation on gravelly loam soil along with furrow irrigation.
Non-bitter. beautiful color (needs a little sunlight to give the Lavender touch) |

| Best eggplant I've tried for short-season Wyoming, phenomenal fruit production, size somewhat between long thin Asian types and big beefy Italian types, good size, very mild, no bitterness, no need to peel. However, it is pretty spiny, so wear gloves when you go out to pick it! I harvested well over 100 full-size eggplants from 4 plants last year, it would have produced more but for an early frost, was loaded with baby eggplants when frost hit (which were delicious in stir-fries). Beautiful plants and fruit! |

| Although my plant seems healthy, it's only grown to be a foot tall and has yet to set any fruit! My other eggplant varieties are doing just fine. I will not try this again next year. |

| A very attractive and productive eggplant. More slender than a traditional dark eggplant, so may not be the first choice if you want large slices. Mild taste, does not need salting. I think this was one of the eggplants with fierce spines on the calyx. |
