This variety turned out to be quite surprizing as, the rate of growth and the overall size of the leaves was more than I had expected! The flavor was sweet and texture outstanding. We eat swiss chard as a boiled green! So, I had a time trying to keep my little secret from my sister who truly loves swiss chard. Finding a reliable source of seed is the biggest promblem that we have here in ohio as, many of the old style hardware stores that, would have carried the bulk seeds, are noo more and many of the mail-order companies only carry the most popular varieties, in their cataloges.
