We have grown Matina for two years, but will not be growing it again. It is an early tomato in our climate, but Stupice is a better eaely tomato. |

Productive, grows well but too small for a salad tomato and too large for a cherry. |

I grew these based on their \"early\" reputation. They were not really early for me, and the taste was fair, a little sweeter would have been good. Fair amount of cracking, concentric circles near the stem. Still looking for an early variety for my garden. |

I was generally underwhelmed by Matina. While there were lots of these smallish tomatoes (very uniform in size), they did not produce significantly earlier than my main season crop, and I had purchased them for an early tomato tease. |

This has been the best early tomato to come out of my Northern VA garden. It has been a little difficult for me to get them to germinate but after that they are early, bear fruit until frost and taste very good. |

For me, it was healthy, EXTREMELY productive, and pretty much flavorless. It may have been partly environmental, but my first experience with it, was nothing to brag about. |

If you want an early variety use Kotlas or Stupice. This tomato got great reviews but is susceptible to early diseases and yield is poor. |
