Seeds from Renee's Garden Seeds.
Delicious beet. Small to medium, dark red, round and smooth. Sweet and flavorful. Quick grower. Harvested from 1" (thinning) to 3"+ and the larger ones are still quite good, not sure how the "baby" fits in.
Great for pickling if that's your thing. Beets I thinned 3-4" didn't do as well as the 4-5" spacing. |

Don't be fooled by the name. You can enjoy Baby Ball (Kleine Bol) up to a very large size. In fact, it may reach full size before your full sized varieties. We have grown it next to Detroit Dark Red and Early Wonder and it has been a stronger grower with much nicer looking tops and smoother roots. Seed available from Peaceful Valley Farm Supply. |
