| Planted two seedlings on May 23. Grew will, with deep green leaves. very tasty. Mid-summer the plants developed powdery mildew. Unfortunately, this was common this summer. |

| Basil was somewhat shaded by vigorous Jasper tomato. Went to seed very fast. Pruning helped bring it back, but low yields. |
