Planted two seedlings on May 23. Grew will, with deep green leaves. very tasty. Mid-summer the plants developed powdery mildew. Unfortunately, this was common this summer. |

Basil was somewhat shaded by vigorous Jasper tomato. Went to seed very fast. Pruning helped bring it back, but low yields. |

Our plants did not do well. They did not thrive and appeared stunted, perhaps due to our extremely moist season. |

This is a small but rich flavored basil. Not as productive as Cinnamon basil. Attractive plant as well for decoration. |
