Extremely productive and flavorful - I definitely recommend this variety. The all-male claim didn\'t hold true, as about 10% of mine have berries.

Four years after removing sod and ehancing the clay soil to a depth of 2.5 feet. The crown is at a depth of approx. 18inch. The 3X6 plantation plot is completely packed. The fern growth reaches 7 foot and I like to support them. 20 plus pounds after the third year.

Planted 2yr old roots in 2006. Appear hardy enough, but the all-male claim isn't so. About 40% female (with berries). Same for Jersey King planted at same time. Well, it's 2008. The asparagus tastes great. Better than anything from the store. Sweet, tender and no fibres. Really worth waiting for. And I get to harvest for a few months every year!

After 3 different plantings with about 30% success rate I finally have a nice bed of asparagus. It was worth the effort.

Outstanding performance during it's planting season. Survival rate amazing considering the heaviness of the soil it was planted in and the drought it experienced. Will be able to cut next year.
