Easy early germination after last frost here in zone 8B.\r\nI love this crispy, crunchy long lasting lettuce. Once washed and spun in my salad spinner, it keeps up to 8-10 days in my crisper. Cut an grow provides enough lettuce for me and a few friends from April until late June before bolting. \r\nI am trying to germinate it now, early July, in the shade of some taller plants in the hopes of having this lettuce all summer. |

I like Tango because it overwinters for me with row cover protection. It makes a nice early spring or late fall salad mixed with spinach. It is the first lettuce I grow to bolt. |
