I had high hopes but this variety was a complete failure last year, so the low rating is really due to my problems/mistakes. I started them mid August and aphids destroyed 95%, so I had to pull them up. This year I planted them mid April and will use row covers on my 18 inch raised beds. However, I did get to taste at least one and they are indeed hot! The white flesh and dark skin is very pretty.
