This cabbage is the one for spring, it matures early and hasn\'t split for me in the rainy spring. Flavor and size is great. The one downfall is that the Beatles and bugs eat holes In the head unless they are covered.

I consider this a good reliable "stand by." Always does well in the garden and easy to grow from seed. Makes a good slaw and does well in other salads where the cabbage is raw. I prefer others for cooking but it can hold its own in either case. |

A good open pollinated early cabbage. Heads are small and round and very tender. Great for slaw or other raw and semi-raw cabbage dishes. Not so good as a traditional boiling cabbage. Performance is more irratic then a hybrid like Stonehead, but a worthwhile cultivar. |

Small dense juicy cabbage heads for fresh use. Absolutely delicious and dripping with moisture when I slice them for cooking. I bet they would make great slaw too. Seeds start very reliably and the plants have survived and produced even after flea beetle attacks. We grow this every year. |
