What a joy it is to report on this variety. It was outstanding in taste, yield, appearance and ease of growing. I got a great spring and fall crop. I grow about 80 different varieties of vegetables and this is one of the last ones I would give up. My great aunt has grown dozens of lettuces and this has become her favorite, too. I have never seen it sold by another name except "flashy butter oak". I got mine straight from Wild Garden Seeds.
