Reasonable yields of tasteless, watery tomatoes. Prized in England for baking particularly at breakfast. I tried for several years and was disappointed each year.. |

We have successfully grown this variety in our garden for 20+ years. Contrary to your profile It does not need a greenhouse. Also it is not 4-6 inches in diameter but rather 1-2 inches. It is a firm slicing excellent salad tomato but can also be used in sauce or juice. Recommend staking as plant can grow to 8 ft tall.At end of season we bring all the green ones in and leave them on newspaper to ripen. In 2005 we were still harvesting them this way in December. |
