Hybrid. Dark red, rounded, roots harvested for smooth baby beets or full size with small crown and no zoning . Use for early bunching. Bright green 12- to 13-inch tops are semi-glossy. Tolerant of downy mildew, powdery mildew, bolting, cercospora, rhizoctonia. Also known as 'Kestral'.

| We had a difficult year between extreme heat and lack of precipitation combined with COVID restrictions, the garden did not get the attention it normally would. We did not get any beets to grow beyond the initial germination phase - I think our bed was overplanted and the Manny cucumber overran the beets. Cannot review |

| I couldn\'t direct sow this into the garden so I started it in pots in April and transplanted the seedlings into the garden in late May. The plants still formed nice round beets by early July.The leaves were also tasty. |

| This is my first year growing this cultivar and they are doing well. Holding thier own with several cultivars including Ruby Queen, Merlin, and Early Blood Turnip. |
