| This is a slow-growing but reliable cabbage for us. Like most brassicas, it tends to get a bit bug-ridden, but so far it has been manageable. It is a fine-tasting cabbage. Even if it was much harder to grow and less tasty than it is, I would still want to grow January King just for its beauty. The combination of the semi-savoyed leaves and purple blush to the outer leaves is just stunning. |
