Very early pole wax (about 60 days), I picked these the same time as my first zucchini. Vines are strong climbers to 6-7 feet, with little branching. Pods are flat bright-yellow Romano-type, 8-9" long, very good eaten out-of-hand or fresh cooked, but poor quality frozen. While the yield is heavy early, it is not sustained over as long a period as most pole beans; the vines are reluctant to resprout. Best for an early bean crop, or where it will be followed by a fall planting of other vegetables. |

This Romano pole bean type is similar in growth and size to Musica and Helda pole beans except it is yellow and a bit milder in taste. Excellent yields and taste. |
