Mine were pretty but on the sour side. Skins were thick. Got hit with a blight first in the garden. |

Intense in colour and flavour; a juicy explosion in the mouth. This is a very popular tomato around here. We have grown it for 2 years, both on the hot and dry side, and it has grown and produced well. It is a fairly large and rangy plant, and will need good staking or tying. Starts producing fairly early and goes all season. |

This is on my list of the top 5 tomatoes. I have grown it for the last 4 years and have had great success each time. Bright orange and very sweet, a great additional to all gardens. It is prolific and carefree. |

Perhaps my favorite-tasting tomato--very tangy, punchy taste with balancing sweetness. Good plants, haven't had any real problem with disease. For me, it is one of the earliest in the garden to ripen. |

This is a smaller indeterminate with an open habit of growth. The fruit is deep orange with a red interior - quite striking. Taste is fruity with a bit of tang. Excellent for an orange tomato. Jaune Flamme is very productive over a long season and I have had no problems with disease over the last 5 years. |

Growth and yield well with little care. Vigorous vining type growth. Not too much vegetation and an abundance of fruit. Great tangy taste . Clusters of pretty orange tomatoes with classic old world look. Gets black spots and goes bad quickly. Well worth growing and have half a dozen started from seed this spring. |

While it is not among my most favorite varieties, I did find it above average in flavor. It has a nice tartness to it. I have a hard time judging productivity. The year I grew it, we had flash floods, and I thought I had killed the only plant of this variety that I had. There was nothing remaining of it after the flood waters receded as far as I could tell. Then it actually grew back from the roots a couple weeks later. I've never even heard of a tomato plant doing that. Based on that, I would have to assume it is pretty hardy. By the time it grew back and was ready to produce, it was pretty late in the season. So I really never got to see it at its peak. It was a good and reliable tomato from what I could tell. |
