It's actually great onion. They are very strong plants even when they just start. they handle very good climate changes. This is my 2nd year and they are still pretty small. I know they need very rich black soil. And I grow them almost in compost pile, but still not big enough. The biggest one is 0.5 inch wide! But taste is excellent and very strong plants, so I gave 4 stars to overall rating. |

First try on the Parma variety during 2009. I believe the weather made them suffer, as they produced small globes, about 6 ounces average. Will try again during 2010 season, as they have a decent flavor. |
