2014 was our first trial of the Bushy Cucumber variety. We got the seed from Seed Savers. Variety Originated in Russia where its short vines and ease of growing made it perfect for dacha or second-home gardens near Moscow. Produced bumper crops for fresh eating and pickling. Fresh was a nice crisp variety with a smooth taste. Pickled it held it's texture very well and stayed crisp either as a fridge pickle or processed pickle. I would recommend this variety as an addition to your cucumber family in the garden.
