| I grew this for the first time in 2012 on a lark. I purchased the seed off the rack form Livingston Seed co. This tomato was the surprise of the year. In an extremely tough year for tomatoes (huge drought, high temperatures) this tomato rocked the tomato garden bed. In a year when many tomatoes did not produce (including hybrids like Better Boy) this tomatoes gave fruit after fruit and seemed to enjoy the extremely high temperature and lack of moisture.. The fruit was delicious, with a rich, sweet, yet low acid tomato taste, no blandness here. I also grew Kellogg\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Breakfast and KBX and they were simply not in the same class tastewise. I am growing this again in 2013 and will let you know how it does, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this tomato. . \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\r\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\n--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\r\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\nUpdate, I continued growing Amana for 2013, 2014, 2015, it continued to be an exceptional choice for a more citrus like flavorful tomato. It is sweet and refreshing and a very dependable produces. Be aware the tomatoes are always large and vary in size. This is on my permanent must grow list.\r\n++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++\r\nUpdate for 2018\r\n-----------------------\r\nAmana Orange has ow joined my permanent line-up of tomatoes. I am impressed by the unique flavor, exceptional size, and overall RELATIVE disease resistance. This now is a must have for me. I look forward to this variety each year. As I said its taste is unique. |

| Amana Orange did well for me here in Iowa, better than the 10 or so other heirloom beefsteak style toms we had including Brandywine. Theyre productive as well as very tasty. I\'m trying /kellogs Breakfast with Amana this year to determine which might be the best big golden tomato. btw I picked them at the green stage, kept in a dark room for a week and they still developed an amazing taste. |

| This is the second year I\'ve grown Amana Orange. It won the taste-test in my garden hands down each year; very mild but a very rich flavor. Last year, despite terrible blight, it was my only heirloom variety that fruited. This year, the yield has been much larger than my other heirlooms. I will continue to grow this as I haven\'t found one I like more! |

| A mild tomato taste with a hint of pineapple. Hands down my favorite tomato I ever grown. It hardly has any seeds, and the taste is out of this world. Don\'t expect a huge harvest though. |

| This is a creamsicle orange beefsteak. I thought it was just good for flavor, but just good, not outstanding. The slugs adored it when I had grown so many others--they just thought Amana Orange was the best in the garden. If you grow this tom then use slug bait as needed. |

| This cultivar has been a reliable performer for me. However I have grown them side by side in the field with Golden Ponderosa and I can't distinguish between them. They are both good dark yellow beefsteaks and could very well be a renamed cultivar. |
