| While Marmande grew well and was healthy and productive, we just did not care for the tomatoes. They cracked terribly, far worse than any other tomato that year, and were rather bland and uninteresting. Also, many were slighlty malformed. In spite of the fact that these are supposed to be indeterminate, we found they started late and finished early. We will not be growing these again. |

| I planted this tomato because it is supposed to tolerate cool nights ... but it did no better than my other tomato varieties. Taste was good (but not as good as Brandywine or Red Pear). Most of the tomatoes had a donut-hole at the blossom end (which makes them more difficult to peel for canning). |
