90 days here. The stout 24" plants seldom lodge. I think someone was dreaming when they wrote the description, because at edamame stage these are _red_ & 3/4" long; even the dry seeds are very large for soybeans @ 80 per ounce. The skin of the seed in edamame stage is fairly thick & tough, but you can easily "pop" them out of their skin by squeezing between thumb & finger. Once the skin is out of the picture, the flavor, texture, & large size are outstanding; but because of the increased time & difficulty, I was forced to lower my ratings. |
