I LOVE this bean. It is productive, tasty (though not a lot different than other pole beans) and beautiful. Beans are flat, long (about 6-7") and a pretty, matte (not shiny) purple color. There is a little variety in color with a few greenish-purple pods but overall the color is very nice. Beans are also straight which makes it easier to slice uniformly for cooking and canning. Growth is about 5-7' in our climate (Seattle area). |
