| I grew this variety in a deserty area in California. It was a very hot summer. These beans were my best producer by far. There should be a rating for beauty, because these beans were beautiful. The plants has a lovely purple tinge, and the pods were lovely both raw and cooked. They were tasty eaten right in the garden. Cooked they turned the brightest green, brighter than the Blue Lakes and Kentucky Blue beans I also grew that year. I had one teepee of these beans, and they nearly out-produced my 20 foot row of the other beans. Excellent bean! |
