I have grown this variety twice and just planted my seeds for this year yesterday! Last year I struggled with damping off, but I believe that was my fault.\r\n\r\nThis variety is excellent if you have issues with flea beetles. I have struggled to grow other varieties of eggplant because I get so many flea beetles. Early Black Egg seems to out grow any pest issues.
