| After reading all of hype about mountain hoosier, I was extremely disappointed in the results that I got. Instead of averaging 70-80 lbs, mine averaged around 10 lbs, and only one reached 22 lbs, and was
the only one to fully ripen.. This was a complete waste of time to grow.
If you ever enter a duration seed spitting contest, this is definitely the
melon for you. It is loaded with large white seeds. Don\'t bother with this one. |

| A pre 1900 watermelon, that is a great performer and a tasty melon. Not as visually appealing as Black Diamond, but matches up well in all other categories. |
