This carrot grew well in a raised bed even though we had a wet growing season. The carrot was a little bitter and we did notice some center pitting on some.

Good germination. Good color and length. Not a sweet carrot flavor.\r\nLet in ground to see if flavor improves as ground cools. \r\nDeer fed on tops in late season.

The germination was good, but the carrot tended to be rather small and pithy. More of a decorative add to have a multicolored carrot display than a variety that would be grown for its own attributes. Attractive, but not sweet and a bit dry.

These carrots required row cover to prevent pest damage. They were slow growing and yielded smaller sized carrots. Flavor was slightly bitter.

Planted seed outdoors 4/8/2021 and harvested mid-June. Straight 6 inch roots with very few forking. Good yellow color and a mild but tasty flavor both raw and cooked.

My favorite of the colored novelty carrots that I have tried. Bright yellow color all the way through makes for great presentation in salads or as carrot sticks. Texture and flavor is also excellent. Tastes like a very good carrot. Much more than just a novelty carrot.

In a bed where all other carrots struggled in the heavy wet clay, Yellowstone made a good stand, excellent yields, little forking compared to the others. As with other yellow carrots, looks a little insipid, but flavor perfectly decent.
