| 85 days here / Maturity Group I. Edamame-type soybean, bush habit, moderately branched, benefits from fairly wide spacing (4-6"). Needs full sun, will grow taller with reduced yield in even light or partial shade. The beans are fairly sweet, excellent flavor, tender-skinned, and large to very large; but the size & number per pod are widely variable. One of the largest, but not my heaviest yielder. Easy to shell after steaming, and a good freezer. |
