Although this is only my first year with this variety, It's good enough to deserve to be rated. These produce small heads, very suitable for one or two people. I started it in flats in late March, and planted late April in the garden, spaced to produce heads. Next started in a small patch in early May. The early heads were the best tasting lettuce ever! The patch produced tasty cut lettuce until late July. Deer got my second patch. My second batch of heads (flats) is due in about two weeks. My third patch is under row cover to hide from deer. |
