Planted sets April 21 and harvested around August 1. So far they are keeping well. This was my first year for this variety, and so far, I like it. |

These onions are long lasting, and very tangy , and are great in salads or in cooking.
If you are a sweet onion lover, this may be too sharp a flavor. The green young onions are excellent as scallions. My chickens love the onion outer paper skins- fight over them! |
