My favorite large, sweet onion for MN. Very easy to grow from plants and the earliest onion in the garden. Of course they don\'t store well since they are sweet. Great for market sales. |

I transplanted these far too late and they still took off in the garden. My biggest problem was that my seed source advertised Walla Walla as a short day onion and obviously it's not. It did okay for me here in South Carolina producing small golf ball to soft ball sized onions. |

This is by far the best sweet onion for the pacific northwest. Has always done well for me and most bulbs are 1 pound or more. |
