Hard Rock is more round than a Roma. A det. that is solid, meaty and a great canning variety. Easy to grow and somewhat wind resistant. Yields are impressive which keeps you busy 'putting up' Available from Totally Tomatoes |

This was the first true determinate variety I have planted. The plants only grew three feet high, but were loaded with tomatoes. They grew on bunches like grape tomatoes, but were larger than a roma. The tomatoes were solid and were excellent for canning and use in sauces. They seemed to have a good shelf life and were crack resistant. I got these seed free for the 2005 planting season from totally tomatoes and was impressed with the results. I am definitly putting these in for the 2006 season. |
