| I grew this one in Virginia in the late 60's -early 70's. At that time seed was available from Willhite. a large icebox type, running 18-20 lbs. Taste is equal to Congo or Charleston Grey, its commercial contemporaries. Very unique appearance, it is a spotted melon. Only thing I have seen with that coloration is the Spotted Watson (Cletex). |
