 | | I raised this last year in the first time trying eggplant. It was a horrid year when melons and cukes did not produce, but I did raise a few of these which I kept for seed.
They produce a gazillion seeds when ripe and I had very good germination in soil and sprouting in a paper towel of near 100% akin to beans sprouting.
They do very well, transplant with ease in seed cells. I used black plastic last year, but will try just soil alone this year.
The plants were about 24 inches, pretty, flowers are lovely and the fruits hold very well. I plan on eating them when glossy as is suggested this year.
They did impress me enough though to try them as a seed saver and my experience is the seeds of this variety are very easy to save and sprout. | | | |
