I grew this in a large container (5+ gallons), and it did very well, producing good fruit even after it and my other tomatoes were hit by late blight. Fruit has faint stripes, hence the "gooseberry" part of the name. Fruit is about the size of a golf ball, sweet mild flavor. Very little cracking. Yield was reduced by the very wet cold weather for the first 6-7 weeks of summer. |
