I purchase the seed from Fedco. It grew well, although a little slow to germinate with my first sowing. I liked how the beans were easy to see and harvest. I didn\'t have any disease issues. The beans stayed thin and tender, but that was as I expected since it is a filet type bean. The only negative is the color. When they were cooked, the pretty purple color faded to an army green color and left a hint of purple on the plate. Other purple beans I have grown have had a more attractive shade of green upon cooking. Other than that, I plan to grow them again this season.
