The only cucumber we can reliably grow because of bacterial wilt problem and fortunately, it is a very good one. Good slicer and pickler too. |

The most reliable variety I've every grown. Because of the severe cuke beetle problem in this area my cukes usually succumb to bacterial wilt mid season. With this variety, that's not a problem. I've successfully put up several quarts of pickles & relish the past 3 summers. Even last summer during the severe drought & heat when everything else failed. |

County Fair (hybrid) is a white spined pickler also fine for slicing. It is the only variety resistant to bacterial wilt. |
