F1 hybrid. Main season standard type developed at NC State University as part of the Mountain series. Determinate bushy plants reaching over 24 inches tall produce dark red fruit that are 10 to 12 ounces and 3 to 3 1/2 round. All American Selection in 2014 - Regional Winner (Heartland). Disease resistant variety. Resistance to late blight, Fusarium wilt and Verticillium wilt and tomato spot virus. About 75 days to maturity from transplant and 117 from sowing seeds.

| Has good resistence to Tomato Spotted Wilt Virus and is productive evn under attack. Not quite as tasty as Bella Rosa more productive under pressure from TSWV. Taste on par with Amelia. These three are the most edible of the TSWV resistent varieties that I have grown. |

| A sturdy plant with good production. Did have problems with curled leaved but the plant did not get late blight even when other tomatoes in my garden did late in the season.
While the flavor was good, the texture was mealy. This may have been the result of the weather conditions this summer but several other gardeners who participated in this trail reported the same result.
Would not grow again. |

| I've grown these for a couple of years now and am very pleased with the results. This is a blight resistant variety that has held up well. A few years ago my tomatoes were devastated by blight. I tried Legend and other blight resistant varieties with no luck. This one was successful - no blight problems! Flavor is pretty good - not the best, but still very good. Nice size for slicing. Produces a good crop. If you've had problems with early or late blight, give this variety a try. (Seeds from Johnny's) |
