| A good blue tomato but, in my opinion, inferior to Dancing with Smurfs. The flavor is good, if you let it fully ripen. All parts of the tomato in direct sunlight turn almost black while the fruit is still young. The bottom will still be green. When the fruit is ripe it will turn a beautiful orange/red color on the bottom. It should still stay on the plant a few days to fully ripen and then is a pretty good tomato. Plants are moderately productive and my great niece got grand champion in our state fair one year with this variety. Always a hit at market. |
