Description: F1 hybrid. Crimson sweet rind type watermelon. Vines reaching 18 inches high and about 12 feet long produce 15 to 20 plus pound globe shaped watermelons with crisp texture, deep red flesh and green rind with dark green stripes. About 90 days from direct sow to harvest and about 75 from transplant to harvest.

Garden Size: Large - More than 1,600 square feet (40' x 40')
Sun Exposure: More than 8 hours per day

Shiny Boy looks and grows like Crimson Sweet. Average about 2lbs smaller and darker red flash. Very sweet. No significant advantage over the original Crimson Sweet under my conditions, at least not enought to justify the cost of the hybrid seeds.
