'Cimaron' Lettuce

Description:	A red romaine variety that dates back to the 18th century. Broad deep red, bronze and green tender leaves form a very loose 10 to12 inch head. Slow to bolt. For early to late spring sowing or fall. About 21 days to baby lettuce and 60 to 65 days to mature.

Grows well here winter early spring. Very attractive red leaves but does not get a tight head. Slow to bolt but does on the onset of warm weather.
