Great cuke. I\\\'m growing them on a wire trellis this year and they are doing great - good growth and lots of fruit. The best part is these are super crisp. I\\\'ve grown all sorts of cucumbers for 50 years but never gave these a shot until this year. And they are the best I\\\'ve ever grown. I put them on a 4 foot high trellis, but they need at least 6 feet and possibly 8 feet. |

Maybe it was a bad cucumber year. Perhaps not enough pollenators. I did not expect great disease resistance but I think I had better fruit and yield from straight 8s another open pollenated variety. |

It's crispy, small seeded and has very good taste when I eat fresh. It's actually pickle variety, so I assume it will be very good to pickle.
I like much stronger flavor, so I gave 4 stars for taste.
I have a very big problem with cucumber beetles. |
