My first experience with cucumbers. Fruits were spiny, bland and heavily seeded. Plant was not happy in my garden, which may explain lack of taste. Given the number of varieties available, I will skip this one next year and try something else. |

This is by far my favorite variety of cucumber. An AAS winner for good reason. It is compact enough for a container or small garden. Mine had vines that were around 2 feet long, and they consistently produced heavy yields. They didn't get bitter even when they got large. Small seed cavity. This was the first cucumber variety that I ever tried growing, and I've still not found one better. Easily worth the cost of the slightly pricier seeds, because of the great disease resistance and very heavy yields. You must try it if you are working with limited space...or even if you're not! |
