No harvest yet, but my peppermint swiss chard is doing nicely. They germinated about a week or so ago for my fall garden and had a great germination rate. Haven\'t harvested yet so I can\'t say much for the taste, but I have noticed that it doesn\'t grow as fast as my Giant Fordhook (white-stemmed) Swiss Chard. I\'m excited to update this review and see how the Peppermint Swiss Chard variety does in my fall garden! |

Excellent swiss chard variety. Very vigorous and fast-growing plants. Showed good disease resistance. Even if some of the older leaves showed some leaf spot and insect activity, the new leaves were healthy and large. Important note: due to the exuberant growth of these plants, they need to be severely pruned and harvested regularly. Otherwise, they can take over the entire bed. |

One of my favourite varieties. So pretty, and the dark green crinkly leaves are delicious. I cook the stems separately, making a french style gratin. Very productive despite not thinning (cutworms helped with that), harvested weekly all summer and well into the fall. Did take a month or so to get going but watering in this hot, dry season was key. |

Grew well from direct seeding. The leaves were fairly small but attractive. Lower yields but we had a very dry year this year and limited water at the location where we were growing it. Did not evaluate flavor as we donated all of our crop to our local food pantry. |

This Chard gave a high yield and was very tasty. It did get Cercospora Leaf Spot so we lost some yield because of this. We kept removing the diseased leaves as soon as they showed signs of this fungus and our careful maintenance preserved most of our yield. |

Love this! Have grown many varieties over the years and this one is one of my favorites. Pretty stems, beautiful, crinkly leaves a lovely shade of green. Great germination, a few leaf miners at the beginning but no other issues. Very tasty, would highly recommend. |
