This kohlrabi grew quickly and well right from the start. A small footprint that produced very well. Roasted on the grill other vegetables it had a very mild flavor. Grated in a slaw it also tasted mild but retained a very good crunch.Left to grow rather large, they started to get a little \\\'woody,\\\' so they should have been harvested at about 3 to 4 inches. |

Although not a regular at my house, I had fun trying different recipes with this vegetable. It was very good tasting, tried in soup and salad. Easily grown in our garden. |

Unfortunately the woodchucks got our kohlrabi before it was large enough to eat. It germinated well though. |

This was an easy plant to grow. It stayed happy and healthy and produced well. I peeled and ate it raw. It tastes similar to a sweet, crisp radish. |

The Lanro Kohlrabi grew well during the wet spring weather and humid days of July. One of the gardeners commented that she peeled, sliced and sauteed it in a seasoned olive oil. It had the texture of a fried potato with a hint of cabbage. It was tasty! A nutrition staff member grated up the kohlrabi and added herbal seasoning to it to make like a slaw. It was good, mild cabbage taste to it. |

Received as seedlings, they struggled after transplanting due to ant infestation around stems. Swede midge eventually infected a few, but the taste was rated as very good by a number of tasters. |
