Staff favorite. Very tender, sweet and productive bean. It is tasty even raw. Not tough or stringy even when picked past its prime. Still productive in September. |

Germination was poor, had to resow but second time was much better. Very tasty but not very productive. |

The flavor of Lewis bush bean was quite sweet and delicious. The beans were a tiny bit tough when eaten raw but probably would be perfect after a little cooking. The plants grew well and were fairly compact. |
