| | Description: |
Very easy to grow and made perfect heads in our Missouri gardens. Here’s a superior Napa-type Chinese cabbage variety that has seldom been seen in the U.S. Medium-sized barrel-shaped heads are densely packed with crinkled, mild-tasting leaves. The preferred variety in the U.K. Great raw or stir-fried, or in homemade kimchi!

Planted late May, will plant fall crop. Brew through August. Spicy mustard/horseradish-y taste. Good producer!

7.28.23 This is still gowning but with the hot summer temperatures we don\'t think a head will form.\r\n\r\nThe cabbage bed has not been successful this year.

Excellent flavor, large head. Outer leaves had damage from flea beetles early in the season but inner leaves were good.

Great tasting cabbage for kimchi! Easy to grow and was not impacted by insects, disease, or wildlife. Matured quickly and yielded a lot of cabbage. The flavor is strong, which I enjoyed, but it might be a little strongly flavored for some.
