On my short list for favorite spring lettuces. Great in a mix. Has great leaf texture without being too ruffled. Upright heads with great color. Delicate mild flavor and texture, especially for a lettuce that holds up so well to the early summer heat. Very slow to bolt, holding well into July (zone 5) both years that I have grown it. Yeild not quite as good in 08 as previous years. Not sure if that is due to wet weather or the fact that I was very late in planting it this year.
